OBK ART HOUSE
JahQues (Jah-Kwes) was born
on March 17th 1973, Jacques
Daniel Jean-Baptiste in Boston,
MA to Haitian Parents. He
worked as a youth counselor for
a Boston Youth Theatrical group
for over 10 years where his love
for music, theater and art
increased. He co-founded the
Boston Hip Hop Group Original
Black Kings, and increased his
popularity on the music scene in
Boston and then later in Atlanta,
GA. After moving to Atlanta in
mid 2000 he became a
mainstay on the underground
entertainment scene and
continues to work as a youth
counselor, musician and artist.
Truly a man of many hats and
talents.
